Manage the end-to-end finance, fund operations, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance for a SEBI-regulated investment platform, including AIF, GP, and offshore fund structures. Partner closely with leadership to establish finance processes, oversee budgeting and drive operational efficiency across the fund ecosystem.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end finance and operations for a SEBI Cat-II AIF, Investment Adviser (GP), and Mauritius fund entities.
  • Lead fund operations including capital calls, distributions, budgeting, and investor reporting.
  • Coordinate board meetings, AGMs, and governance processes.
  • Establish finance processes, SOPs, and internal control frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with investors, including HNIs, family offices, and corporates.
  • Support leadership with strategic reporting and business insights.
  • Drive vendor negotiations and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the AMC.
  • Ensure end-to-end tax, regulatory, and compliance management for the Fund and AMC.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Associate should have:

  • CA qualification with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in CAT II VC fund.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong experience in Fund accounting, finance operations and compliance.
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
