Job Description

  • Driving innovation in Power Interconnect Solutions while defining technology strategy, product roadmaps, and long-term engineering capabilities aligned with business objectives.
  • Providing deep technical leadership in power connector and cable assembly design while leveraging industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer insights to guide development.
  • Serving as the primary technical interface for customers while leading design reviews, qualification efforts, and complex engineering discussions to strengthen partnerships.
  • Leading cross-functional root cause analysis and structured problem-solving initiatives using 8D, DMAIC, DOE, and FMEA to enhance product reliability and customer confidence.
  • Building strong customer and internal partnerships to ensure alignment across product development, manufacturability, quality, and market expectations.
  • Overseeing end-to-end product development from concept through production while ensuring performance, reliability, cost competitiveness, and timely execution.
  • Partnering with manufacturing and suppliers to establish robust processes, optimize costs, and ensure smooth transition from NPI to volume production.
  • Building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborating with global teams and stakeholders while effectively communicating progress, risks, and strategic insights across regions and functions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Engineering Leader should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10-15 years of experience in connector / cable design and development, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as stamping, plating, molding, and assembly.
  • Proven expertise in power connectors across industrial applications and energy storage solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading customer technical reviews and resolving field/customer quality issues using structured root-cause and corrective action methodologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams delivering end-to-end product development and execution.
  • Strong background in global manufacturing environments with the ability to drive quality, performance, and customer-centric engineering outcomes.
