About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing warehousing solutions business expanding its manufacturing and project execution capabilities in India. The role offers the opportunity to build and strengthen EHS systems across a growing plant and multi-site project environment involving plant manufacturing, and client-site installation activities.

Job Description

  • Leading the EHS strategy, governance and safety culture across manufacturing plants and project sites.
  • Establishing and enforcing EHS standards and controls across manufacturing, warehousing, installation, dismantling and high-risk activities.
  • Ensuring statutory, customer and internal compliance, including risk assessments, audits, safety plans and high-risk work approvals.
  • Leading incident investigations, RCA, CAPA and continuous improvement, while driving closure of safety observations and audit findings.
  • Overseeing contractor EHS, workforce competency, training, PPE, lifting/access equipment and emergency preparedness across plants and active project sites.
  • Monitoring EHS performance through leading and lagging indicators, identify key risks and present performance and improvement plans to senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of EHS experience with proven ownership across both manufacturing/plant operations and project/site execution
  • Experience in industrial, engineering, fabrication, PEB, racking, warehouse automation or similar environments.
  • Should have handled high-risk activities like work at height, lifting/rigging, installation/erection
  • Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects would be an advantage
