The position requires strong expertise in 13-week cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, operational improvement, and business development while helping build and scale the firm's India platform.

About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing international advisory and consulting firm with a strong track record of delivering complex financial and operational transformation engagements across the middle market. As part of its ongoing expansion, the firm is establishing and scaling its India presence and is currently undertaking a significant team buildout across mid to senior-level professionals within its Turnaround & Restructuring practice.

Job Description

  • Lead client engagements across restructuring, turnaround, liquidity management, and business transformation situations.
  • Own and review 13-week cash flow forecasting, liquidity assessments, treasury management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop integrated business plans, financial projections, restructuring strategies, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reporting, KPI dashboards, board presentations, and lender/investor updates.
  • Advise management teams, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders on critical operational and financial decisions.
  • Lead workstreams involving bankruptcy preparedness, contingency planning, cash preservation, and value creation initiatives.
  • Drive business development efforts through relationship building with corporates, private equity firms, lenders, lawyers, and other intermediaries.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the growing India practice.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in restructuring, turnaround consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or related advisory environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing, reviewing, and managing 13-week cash flow models and liquidity forecasting exercises.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities, including three-statement models, business planning, scenario analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Experience working with distressed, underperforming, or rapidly changing business situations.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior executives, lenders, investors, private equity sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Track record of leading teams and delivering high-impact client outcomes in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
