They will evaluate potential sites and transactions from a commercial, financial, operational, and strategic perspective, conducting detailed market assessments, financial modelling, business case development, and investment analysis to support decision-making.A key responsibility of the role will be leading complex lease and acquisition negotiations with developers, institutional landlords, asset owners, and brokers to secure commercially attractive terms while mitigating business risks. The Director will oversee all aspects of due diligence, deal structuring, legal documentation, and approval processes, working closely with internal legal, finance, operations, and leadership teams to ensure timely transaction closure.Beyond acquisitions, the role will be accountable for managing and optimizing the existing real estate portfolio, identifying opportunities for renewals, consolidations, relocations, renegotiations, and cost efficiencies. The individual will build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including developers, investors, IPCs, property consultants, and landlords, to establish a sustainable pipeline of opportunities across target markets.As a senior leader, the Director will lead and develop a high-performing real estate team, establish robust governance and reporting mechanisms, and provide strategic insights to executive leadership on market trends, portfolio performance, emerging opportunities, and risks.
