Our client is a leading player in the MedTech space.

Job Description

This role is responsible for establishing and scaling the company's hardware engineering and NPI capabilities in India as part of a strategic global R&D expansion, with an exclusive focus on electrical, mechanical, and optical hardware systems. It owns end-to-end product architecture and NPI delivery, leads global product transfers from the US to India, partners closely with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, and global R&D teams, and builds high-performing engineering and manufacturing teams while ensuring strong alignment and stakeholder engagement with US leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  1. 14+ years of experience, with a background in hardware/mechanical/optical/ systems engineering with hands-on exposure to product architecture and NPI.
  2. Proven leadership experience in MedTech, preferably diagnostics.
  3. Experience managing global stakeholders and ability to lead product transfers across countries.
  4. Demonstrated ability to hire, build, and mentor teams, including manufacturing and engineering functions.
  5. Educational background in Electrical / Mechanical / Optical Engineering (BTech/MTech) preferred.
