Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the operation and maintenance of energy systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure smooth functioning of all equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for operation and maintenance activities.
  • Lead and mentor the team to enhance overall performance and productivity.
  • Generate reports on operational performance and suggest improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful DGM - Operation and Maintenance should have:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proven expertise in operation and maintenance within the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
  • Experience in budget planning and cost management.
