Own the pipeline and execution for term loans, NCDs and structured facilities from banks, NBFCs, AIFs, credit funds and DFIs. Be the first point of contact for lenders: pitch the business, run the meeting, manage the relationship through sanction, disbursal and renewal.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute debt fundraising strategies.
  • This is a middle office role.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial models and business presentations for investors.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with financial institutions.
  • Track market trends and identify potential funding opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with investors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during fundraising activities.
  • Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in debt capital markets, DCM/structured finance at a bank, NBFC treasury, an NBFC's own fundraising team, a boutique debt advisory, or a credit fund.
  • Have run or meaningfully supported raises from banks, NBFCs or funds, and can talk credibly about term sheets, covenants, security structures and what makes a credit committee say yes
  • familiarity with NCDs, term loans, DA transactions, rating processes and instrument structuring.
  • CA or MBA from a reputed institution.
  • Sharp financial modelling and analytical skills; fluency with lending metrics
  • Clear, structured communication
