Job Description

  1. Brand Evolution: Translating the heritage mission into modern strategic priorities to attract younger demographics without alienating legacy loyalists.
  2. Portfolio Management: Overseeing multiple flagship properties or a specific region, ensuring that service standards (the "kernel") remain consistent across every touchpoint.
  3. ESG & Sustainability: Leading large-scale sustainability initiatives which are critical for the annual reports of listed companies.
  4. Financial Stewardship & Performance: As a leader in a listed entity, this role has high accountability to the Board and shareholders.
  5. P&L Accountability: Managing multi-million dollar budgets, identifying revenue growth levers, and optimizing CAPEX planning for renovations.
  6. Yield & Revenue Strategy: Collaborating with revenue management to maximize ADR (Average Daily Rate) and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) in competitive markets.
  7. Corporate Governance: Ensuring all operations meet strict statutory and regulatory compliance required for public companies.
  8. Stakeholder & Guest Relations | VIP & Investor Relations: Serving as the primary face of the brand for high-profile stakeholders and ensuring zero-fail delivery during "legend-defining" events.
  9. Talent Benchmarking: Mentoring the next generation of General Managers and installing performance scorecards tied to guest-centric outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: 12- 15+ years in premium or 5-star hospitality, with significant tenure in leadership roles.
  • Education: Advanced degree in Hospitality Management or an MBA / Doctorate / ON a high profile Board) that could work with the Government as well).
