The Corporate Development Lead (M&A) will oversee strategic mergers and acquisitions activities, focusing on deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration within the Tech/Software space. This role is based out of Delhi NCR and requires expertise in Corp Dev/M&A within tech/software/startup space.

Job Description

  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities.
  • Lead financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence processes for potential deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic fit and synergies of target companies.
  • Develop and present investment recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Manage the end-to-end deal process, including negotiations and closing transactions.
  • Coordinate post-merger integration activities to ensure seamless business alignment.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in the Internet industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external advisors, stakeholders, and potential partners.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Development Lead (M&A) should have:

  • Strong educational background (Tier 1 MBA) with 6-10 years' experience.
  • Proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions within tech/startup ecosystem will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and strategic analysis.
  • Solid understanding of the tech industry and its market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
