Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end regulatory compliance across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring adherence to Central and State regulations related to environmental, factory, labour, and industrial operations.
  • Manage environmental and statutory approvals, including Environmental Clearances (EC), Pollution Control Board Consents (CTE/CTO), Hazardous Waste Authorisations, ODS compliance, and Ground Water Extraction permissions.
  • Drive regulatory engagement and governance, acting as the primary interface with government authorities including CIB&RC, CPCB, State Pollution Control Boards, PESO, DGFT, CGWA, Factory Inspectorates, Labour Departments, and BIS.
  • Oversee product and licensing compliance, including product registrations, manufacturing licenses, import/export authorisations, Legal Metrology registrations, and certification requirements across multiple plants.
  • Lead compliance audits, inspections, and risk mitigation initiatives, ensuring audit readiness, timely statutory reporting, closure of regulatory observations, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Partnering with plant leadership, operations, EHS, HR, legal, and external consultants to strengthen governance, ensure policy adherence, and support business growth through robust compliance frameworks.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in Law preferably
  • Experience in the chemical industry or related industrial/manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to working 6 days (alternate weeks) and travelling to the plant locations when required.
