The position of Cloud & Managed Apps - L3 Windows involves managing and supporting advanced Windows-based cloud and application services. He/she will report directly to the India Tech Hub System Tower Lead. He/she, is responsible for overall RUN team support expertise and L3 technical escalations.

Job Description

KEY ACTIVITIES & TASKS* Lead resolution of high-priority (P1/P2) incidents, ensuring timely service restoration and effective communication to stakeholders and clients.

* Manage and maintain Windows server environments

* Image creation

* Troubleshoot complex issues related to Active Directory, DNS, GPO, DFS and user access management.

* Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and fault analysis for Windows

* Conduct OS-level patching, kernel upgrades, and security hardening in compliance with Global I T standards.

* Automate recurring administrative tasks using Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform

* Plan and implement infrastructure changes, backups and disaster recovery initiatives.

* Collaborate closely with application, storage, and network teams to resolve multi-domain technical challenges.

* Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, system reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

* Mentor and guide L1.5/ L2 engineers in troubleshooting methodology, service delivery, and client engagement.

* Participate in on-call rotations and shift schedules to support operations.

A successful Cloud & Managed Apps - L3 Windows professional should have:PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Technical Competencies

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information Technology, or a related field.

* Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server administration

* Deep knowledg e of Active Directory, DNS, GPO

* Advanced Ansible and PowerShell scripting skills for automat ion and efficiency.

* Proficiency in Terraform

* Experience in security patching, vulnerability management, and compliance audits.

* Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and performance analytics tools.

* Strong analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.

* Proven ability to manage critical incidents (P1/P2), lead war-room calls, and communicate with clients under pressure. * Exposure to ITSM processes.

* Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with a focus on uptime and optimization.

Certifications:

* Microsoft certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent are highly preferred.

* ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.
