Role Summary

The Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) will lead the company's digital transformation and information technology strategy, bridging cutting-edge digital innovation with robust IT operations. As a key member of the Leadership Team, the CDIO will champion data-driven decision-making, enhance supply chain agility, and deliver personalized consumer experiences in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role demands a visionary leader who can integrate AI, cloud technologies, and analytics to fuel sustainable growth and competitive advantage.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Digital Strategy: Define and lead a comprehensive digital roadmap aligned with business objectives, including e-commerce expansion, omnichannel consumer engagement, and AI-powered personalization.
  • Oversee IT Infrastructure and Operations: Manage global IT systems, cybersecurity, cloud migration (e.g., AWS, Azure), ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce), and ensure 99.99% uptime for mission-critical supply chain and manufacturing systems.
  • Drive Data and Analytics Excellence: Build and govern enterprise data platforms, leveraging big data, machine learning, and predictive analytics to optimize demand forecasting, inventory management, and marketing ROI.
  • Foster Innovation and Partnerships: Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to pioneer digital products (e.g., AR/VR for virtual try-ons, blockchain for traceability); forge strategic alliances with tech companies and startups.
  • Lead Digital Transformation Initiatives: Spearhead projects in IoT for smart factories, sustainable supply chain digitization, and zero-touch retail experiences.
  • Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Champion GDPR/CCPA compliance, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and ethical AI governance.
  • Build High-Performance Teams: Recruit, mentor, and develop a world-class digital and IT organization; promote a culture of agility, diversity, and continuous learning.
  • Report and Influence at Board Level: Provide strategic insights to the C-suite and board on digital trends, KPIs (e.g., digital revenue growth, tech ROI), and emerging risks/opportunities.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of FMCG-specific technologies (e.g., PLM systems, WMS, consumer data platforms); proficiency in Agile/DevOps, low-code platforms, and GenAI tools.

Experience:

    • 15+ years in IT/digital leadership, with 7+ years in executive roles (e.g., CIO, CTO, or CDO) within FMCG/consumer goods, retail, or CPG sectors.
    • Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital transformations, including programs in cloud, AI, and analytics.
