Job Description

  • Lead the overall finance function for the India Financial Services business, ensuring strong governance and financial controls.
  • Manage accounting, FP&A, statutory reporting, RBI reporting, tax compliance and business performance reporting.
  • Partner with the Managing Director, Board of Directors and APAC Finance leadership on strategic business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Reserve Bank of India regulations, local statutory requirements and corporate governance standards.
  • Oversee internal and external audits while maintaining a robust SOX-compliant control environment.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and pricing initiatives to support business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with regional finance, treasury and business stakeholders on funding, capital management and finance transformation projects.
  • Lead and develop a finance team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A strong background in finance and accounting.
  • Experience in the industrial or construction industry is preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Confidence in handling budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.



Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience within Financial Services, Banking, NBFCs or Big Four consulting/audit firms.
  • Proven leadership experience managing finance functions, regulatory reporting and governance frameworks.
  • Strong exposure to retail and wholesale financing businesses, preferably including equipment financing.



Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, MBA and/or CFA preferred.



Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Local GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
  • Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis, taxation and regulatory reporting.
  • Working knowledge of RBI regulations and financial services regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with finance systems and reporting tools.
