The Successful Applicant

A successful CFO should have:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
  • Strong exposure to multi‑business or multi‑location operations with complex structures.
  • Ability to manage a top line of at least ₹2,000 crore++, with proven experience handling large‑scale P&Ls.
  • Deep expertise in financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong governance, compliance, and risk‑management orientation.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing financial systems, automation, and digital finance tools.
  • Proven capability to partner with senior leadership and influence strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, including investor‑facing exposure.
  • Experience building and developing high‑performing finance teams.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create clarity, structure, and processes in fast‑growing environments.
