Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsLead sourcing strategy and supplier partnershipsDrive high-impact NPI programs with global cross-functional teamsAbout Our ClientOur client is a leading MedTech company.Job DescriptionLead sourcing strategy and supplier selection for new product development programs.Drive supplier identification, evaluation, qualification, and onboarding activities.Manage cost targets, supplier negotiations, contracts, and long-term commercial agreements.Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to support product launches.Conduct supplier risk assessments, capacity planning, and supply continuity planning.Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex engineered components and assemblies.Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.Support new product introductions from concept through launch and operational stabilization.Drive inventory planning, demand forecasting, and manufacturing readiness activities.Identify opportunities to improve time-to-market, supplier responsiveness, and overall supply chain efficiency.The Successful ApplicantWe're looking for someone who has:10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) sourcing programs from concept to launch.Strong expertise in supplier selection, supplier development, and supplier relationship management.Demonstrated success in commercial negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.Experience managing supply chain risk, capacity planning, and sourcing strategy for critical components.Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and operations teams.Knowledge of complex manufacturing categories such as machining, electronics, plastics, contract manufacturing, optics, or interconnects.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership capabilities.Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred.Able to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and highly matrixed environment.What's on OfferThis opportunity offers the chance to play a pivotal role in bringing innovative, technology-driven products to market while partnering with global engineering, operations, and supplier teams.
