Job Description

  • Advise on structuring, negotiation, and documentation of finance transactions, including leasing, secured lending, and receivables financing.
  • Draft and review transaction documents such as security agreements, guarantees, and related legal instruments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (credit, sales, operations) to assess and manage legal risks.
  • Support cross-border transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to legal templates, governance frameworks, and process improvements.
  • Assist in dispute resolution, recoveries, and enforcement of contractual rights.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to financial services and asset finance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer (LL.B/LL/M) with significant experience in banking, finance, or structured finance.
  • PQE: 6-9 years
  • Strong understanding of finance documentation, security structures, and lending transactions.
  • Experience with cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
