Our client is a leading global technology organization with a dedicated financial services platform that enables customers worldwide to access technology through innovative financing, leasing and subscription-based solutions.

Job Description

  • Acting as a trusted legal advisor to business, treasury, finance, credit and leadership teams globally.
  • Advising on a broad range of financing transactions including leasing, asset finance, secured lending, receivables financing, rental programmes, subscription-based offerings and other structured financing solutions.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of financing and commercial agreements including lease agreements, loan agreements, security documents, guarantees, servicing agreements and financing programme documentation.
  • Supporting cross-border and multi-jurisdictional financing transactions involving customers, funders, financing partners and service providers.
  • Advising on lending, leasing and financial services regulations across different jurisdictions and supporting market entry initiatives.
  • Supporting the establishment and expansion of financing entities globally, including licensing, governance and operating model considerations.
  • Partnering with Treasury teams on funding transactions, debt facilities, refinancing programmes, receivables monetisation and structured finance initiatives.
  • Supporting ISDA negotiations, derivatives documentation and treasury risk management transactions.
  • Supporting portfolio recovery, restructuring, insolvency and enforcement matters where required.
  • Developing and enhancing legal policies, governance frameworks, contractual standards and risk management processes.
  • Managing external counsel and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple global jurisdictions.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified lawyer with approximately 5-8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience gained within a leading law firm, financial institution, bank, or asset finance platform.
  • Strong exposure to banking & finance, asset finance, lending, structured finance or leasing transactions.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex finance documentation and security arrangements.
  • Familiarity with cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional legal issues.
