The platform combines technology with on-ground distribution to deliver a suite of financial and value-added services at scale.

Job Description

  • Lead backend development for complex product modules using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
  • Mentor and manage a cross-functional engineering team across backend and frontend
  • Drive technical design and architecture discussions with engineering, product, and business teams
  • Ensure high code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with frontend, mobile, DevOps, Product, and QA teams for seamless feature delivery
  • Own system reliability, observability, and performance optimization
  • Provide technical guidance and enforce engineering best practices
  • Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and recommend improvements

The Successful Applicant

  • 6-8 backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and asynchronous systems
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, caching, and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency
  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering projects end-to-end
  • Strong technical documentation skills (specs, ADRs, APIs, onboarding docs)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, or Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Experienceinfintech systems such as:
    • Lending workflows (origination, underwriting, repayment)
    • Digital wallets and payment integrations (e.g., UPI, BBPS, Razorpay)
  • Understanding of financial data security and privacy practices
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
