Our client is a prominent venture investment firm with a strong track record of supporting some of India's fastest-growing startups. The firm works closely with founders from inception through scale, providing capital, network access, and strategic support.

Job Description

  1. Lead and support fundraising initiatives for portfolio companies across Seed, Series A, Series B, Growth, and Pre-IPO stages, with direct accountability for helping founders successfully raise capital.
  2. Partner with founders and leadership teams on fundraising strategy, capital planning, and investor positioning.
  3. Assess fundraising readiness and identify gaps across financials, operational metrics, and growth narrative.
  4. Develop and refine investor-facing materials including pitch decks, financial models, investment memos, and data rooms.
  5. Build targeted investor outreach strategies across venture capital, growth equity, family office, and strategic investor networks.
  6. Facilitate and manage introductions between portfolio companies and prospective investors.
  7. Drive end-to-end fundraising processes, including investor outreach, management meetings, diligence, term sheet discussions, and closing.
  8. Coordinate due diligence workstreams and manage interactions between investors and company management teams.
  9. Provide valuation analysis, market intelligence, and benchmarking insights to optimize fundraising outcomes.
  10. Track fundraising pipelines, investor feedback, and transaction milestones while advising founders on best practices throughout the capital raise process.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in fundraising and investor relations in a startup setting is a must.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services and Venture Capital / Private Equity.
  • Experience building relationships with investors and other stakeholders.
  • Confidence creating investor presentations and communication materials.
  • Ability to explain financial and investment information in a clear way.
  • Strong organisation skills to manage follow-ups and investor records.
