Our Client is a leading food and agri sector global advisory firm operating across multiple geographies.

Job Description

The Primary Responsibilities involve -* Transaction Execution & Structuring

  • End-to-end execution of debt syndication mandates
  • Structure optimal debt solutions aligned to cash flows and balance sheet strength
  • Develop integrated financial models including projections, DSCR/ISCR, covenant analysis and stress testing
  • Prepare lender information memorandums and credit notes
  • Lead lender discussions on pricing, covenants, security and documentation
  • Drive due diligence and financial closure



* Revenue Generation & Business Development

  • Independently originate and convert debt mandates
  • Build and manage transaction pipeline with defined revenue targets
  • Identify refinancing and acquisition finance opportunities
  • Lead commercial negotiations and mandate closures
  • Contribute to annual revenue targets of the vertical



* Lender Relationship Management

  • Build relationships with Banks, NBFCs, AIFs and Private Credit Funds
  • Track credit appetite, pricing benchmarks and regulatory developments
  • Position firm as preferred intermediary for mid-market structured debt



* Team Building & Practice Development

  • Mentor and manage analysts and associates
  • Establish modelling and execution best practices
  • Build scalable execution capacity
  • Contribute to long-term vertical strategy

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP - Debt Syndication should have:

  • Experience Required: 6 to 10 years of experience in Debt Syndication / Structured Finance teams at Scheduled Commercial Banks in India OR Corporate Banking / Credit teams with strong deal exposure OR Private Credit Funds / AIFs / NBFC lending platforms
  • Educational Qualification: MBA from Tier-I institutes or is a qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Sector Exposure: Experience in food & agri sectors would be an added advantage
  • Excellent financial modelling skills
  • Deal handling & financial closure experience is essential
  • Willingness to travel (domestic / international), as required
