Job Description

  • Lead the design and development of aircraft cabin interiors aligned with brand and customer experience objectives.
  • Drive innovation in seating concepts, cabin layouts, lighting, lavatories, and passenger touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) strategies.
  • Design end-to-end onboard service experiences using customer journey mapping and service design principles.
  • Manage cabin refurbishment, retrofit, reconfiguration, and fleet enhancement projects.
  • Lead cross-functional programs involving operations, engineering, customer experience, and commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and certification requirements.
  • Build strategic relationships with OEMs, suppliers, technology partners, and vendors while driving cost optimization.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-15 years of experience in aviation cabin design, aircraft interiors, product development, customer experience, service design, or IFE/IFC programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related discipline. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience with airlines, aircraft OEMs, MROs, aviation consulting firms, or aircraft interior solution providers.
  • Strong expertise in cabin interiors, seating products, cabin systems, passenger-facing technologies, IFE, and IFC platforms.
  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping, service design methodologies, and customer experience innovation.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, vendor management, and business case development skills.
  • Understanding of aviation regulations, certification processes, and airworthiness requirements.
