About Our Client

Pune-based real estate developer with roots connected to a family business legacy spanning multiple generations. The company develops residential and mixed-use real estate projects, primarily in Pune and Mumbai.

Job Description

  • Drive end-to-end liaisoning and coordination with government departments, municipal authorities, planning agencies, utility providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate timely acquisition of statutory approvals, permits, NOCs, and clearances required for project development and execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, industry bodies, and local authorities.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory policies, government notifications, and industry developments, assessing their impact on business operations.
  • Support project and leadership teams in resolving approval-related issues and mitigating regulatory risks.
  • Represent the company at government forums, industry associations, and stakeholder meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Projects, Legal, Design, Sales, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of corporate affairs initiatives.
  • Provide strategic inputs on land acquisition, project approvals, and regulatory compliance matters across the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance practices.
  • Experience in the property or building and construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in India.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle legal and corporate documentation.15+ years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Liaisoning, or Regulatory Affairs within real estate, infrastructure, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong network and working relationships with government and regulatory authorities in the Pune region.
  • Sound understanding of real estate development approvals, statutory processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
