Job Description

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy for the Performance Analytics function aligned with portfolio expansion
  • Build advanced real-time monitoring and alerting systems across renewable assets using SCADA and streaming data
  • Design scalable data architecture, pipelines, and governance frameworks for analytics-ready datasets
  • Lead performance analytics across solar, wind, and BESS assets, including loss diagnostics and predictive maintenance
  • Develop forecasting models to improve generation accuracy and minimize regulatory penalties
  • Partner with O&M teams to translate analytics into actionable field-level improvements
  • Establish unified performance frameworks across multi-technology energy assets
  • Deliver insight-driven reporting to leadership, investors, and stakeholders while protecting asset value

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: 10-15 years with strong exposure to renewable energy asset management / performance analytics and team leadership
  • Technical Skills: Strong data architecture and analytics capability; hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and large time-series datasets; exposure to real-time data systems
  • Analytical Expertise: Experience in machine learning, anomaly detection, forecasting, and predictive maintenance
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of solar performance; working knowledge of wind and energy storage systems
  • Leadership: Proven track record building and scaling analytics/data functions at portfolio level
  • Education: B.Tech / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Energy or related; Master's (Energy/Data/Analytics) or MBA preferred
  • Other Skills: Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and data visualization capabilities
