Seeking an experienced Quality Head to oversee quality assurance across two operating plants and play a pivotal role in driving quality excellence for the group. This is a strategic leadership position, directly reporting to the Executive Director.

The job entails leading an integrated steel plant with 600 people and plant functions including HR, Safety, Compliance, and Quality. Eventually the role will also lead the newly acquired plants with total capacity of 5L TPA

Our client is looking for an Operations leader to join the team as a Plant Head. The role will be based out of Tamil Nadu, where the client has their manufacturing setup

• The Plant Head is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall operation and performance of the manufacturing plan
• The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including production, quality, safety, cost management in addition to strategic planning, team leadership, process optimisation, and compliance with industry regulations

Work experience of more than 4 - 12 years in all facets of Process Engineering Design of large Oil & Gas / petrochemical facility development.

Minimum

Work experience of more than 15 years in all facets of Process Engineering Design of large Oil & Gas / petrochemical facility development. Key Responsibilities

Work as part of the Process Engineering Project Team with specific responsibility for:

- Familiar with Refinery Plant and/or Petrochemical Plant,

- Process optimization,

- Preparation and Development of basis of design, heat and mass balance, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment and instrument sizing and data sheet,

- Hydraulic calculation, thermal rating of shell & tube heat exchangers and pressure relieving calculation,

- Process simulation (HYSYS/Pro-II)

- Estimation of utility consumption,

- Preparation of operation manual,

- Managing to the overseas engineering centres,

- Interface & coordination design activities, managing to the process related parties, such as Client and the other EPC contractors,

-A high standard of English language ability both written and spoken.

-Ability to use the Microsoft Office environment in all aspects of daily work.

-Highly ethical - accountable for actions and statements.

-The leadership qualities to lead, delegate tasks and organize the team.

-Ability to understand and interpret complex problems and explain them to others.
