We are seeking a senior Business Development & Licensing leader to drive global growth through strategic partnerships, licensing opportunities, alliance management, and client acquisition. Based in Vadodara, this role offers direct exposure to international pharmaceutical companies and high-impact commercial transactions.

Job Description

  • Lead business development strategy and drive revenue growth across global markets.
  • Identify and secure new opportunities in CDMO, contract manufacturing, technology transfer, APIs, and formulations.
  • Build and manage relationships with pharmaceutical, specialty, and healthcare companies worldwide.
  • Lead licensing activities including in-licensing, out-licensing, co-development, and commercialization partnerships.
  • Drive commercial negotiations, due diligence, contract discussions, and deal closure.
  • Manage key alliance partners and strategic accounts.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, customer meetings, and international forums.
  • Support market intelligence, portfolio expansion, and long-term growth planning.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP/Director - Business Development should have:

  • 12-18+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical Business Development, Licensing, Alliances, or Strategic Partnerships.
  • Proven track record of closing complex international deals.
  • Strong exposure to regulated markets such as the US, EU, and other global regions.
  • Experience in CDMO, CMO, CRAMS, contract manufacturing, or pharmaceutical services preferred.
  • Understanding of technology transfers, dossiers, commercial negotiations, and partnership models.
  • Established network across innovator, generic, and specialty pharmaceutical companies.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.



Candidates with hands-on Business Development & Licensing experience in regulated markets will be strongly preferred.
