The organisation is undertaking an ambitious phase of expansion through strategic investments, acquisitions, partnerships and new business opportunities across global markets.Job DescriptionReporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:Leading end-to-end domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including opportunity evaluation, valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation and closure.Evaluating acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, new business opportunities and turnaround investments across international markets.Leading international fundraising through bonds, ECBs, overseas debt, equity and other capital-market instruments.Managing investor and lender engagement, including transaction marketing, investor queries, due diligence and commercial negotiations.Negotiating term sheets and other key commercial, financing and transaction documents.Developing efficient cross-border investment and holding structures, with consideration for risk mitigation, taxation and repatriation of returns.Preparing financial models, investment cases and strategic recommendations for the promoters and senior leadership.Managing relationships with investors, lenders, investment banks, rating agencies, legal counsel, tax advisors and other transaction stakeholders.Leading and mentoring the team while remaining hands-on with financial analysis and critical transactions.Travelling internationally based on transaction and business requirements.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate should have:At least 15 years of experience in international finance, M&A, corporate development, strategic finance, investment banking or related areas.Experience working in a large, capital-intensive manufacturing or asset-heavy business.A demonstrated track record of personally leading end-to-end M&A transactions.Strong experience in international fundraising, preferably involving bonds, ECBs, overseas debt or capital-market transactions.Hands-on experience in investor and lender engagement, transaction marketing, commercial negotiations and term-sheet finalisation.Exposure to cross-border acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and multi-jurisdictional structures.Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment-evaluation capabilities.A working understanding of international taxation, regulatory considerations and repatriation structures.IPO or listing experience would be advantageous.A mature and commercially astute leadership style, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, promoter-led environment.Willingness to undertake international travel, including at short notice.A Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred, with CA rank-holders particularly encouraged.An MBA from a Tier-1 business school would be advantageous.What's on OfferA high-impact leadership opportunity with a well-established listed manufacturing organisation undergoing significant global expansion.Direct exposure to the promoters and senior leadership on strategic investments and international transactions.The opportunity to lead complex cross-border acquisitions, fundraising and investment-structuring initiatives.Significant ownership and autonomy in shaping the organisation's international growth agenda.Competitive compensation, with flexibility for the right candidate.Quote job refJN-092026-7110998Job summaryFunctionFinance & AccountingSub SectorCorporate FinanceWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationMumbaiJob TypePermanentJob ReferenceJN-092026-7110998
