Job Description

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement effective financial controls and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize working capital with focus on Fx management.
  • Maintain banking relationships and oversee funding requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance team.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and the board.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP - Head of Finance should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance - CA / CPA / ACCA.
  • Extensive experience in financial management within the technology and telecoms industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
