The Finance Operations role with a leading consumer business is focused on driving SOP‑driven processes across the organization, including end‑to‑end sales incentive computation, reporting and analytics, and collections management. This is a high‑impact operational role suited for professionals with strong finance acumen, process excellence orientation, and experience building scalable, compliant workflows. Based in Gurgaon, this role will report into the SVP Finance.

Job Description

  • Manage and streamline financial operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and financial risks effectively.
  • Implement financial controls and policies to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve organizational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr Manager/AVP Finance Operations should have:

  • A solid academic foundation paired with 5-8 years of experience in finance operations, including SOP‑driven process management, reporting and analytics, collections oversight, and sales incentive computation.
  • CA/MBA qualification
  • Proven expertise in finance operations, process excellence, and cross‑functional business within the Technology/Consumer industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, SOP processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage teams effectively.
