Job Description

  • Data engineering & Data platform development.
  • Process data into reusable objects.
  • Implement quality control mechanisms.
  • Work with data analysts, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data products.
  • Work closely with data governance team to ensure alignment on data access, provide insight into data lineage and provide auditability of data solutions,

The Successful Applicant

* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

* 7+ years in data engineering with hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse are a plus

* Technical skills: SQL , Python / Pyspark , ETL/ELT with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse, Network related knowledge is a plus

* Knowledge of data practices (dimensional models, normalizing data, etc.)

* Knowledge of data platform design (federated versus centralized, etc.)
