The Service Manager based out of Navi Mumbai will lead, oversee, and execute the installation, commissioning, retrofitting, troubleshooting and maintenance of all product lines - Valve automation products, including Electro-Hydraulic, Pneumatic Actuators, SMART/ traditional Positioners, Power Cylinders, Limit Switches etc
  • 15 years in after-sales service, customer experience & techno-commercial roles
  • Experience with valves, actuators, pneumatic and hydraulic components

Job Description

  • Lead the Customer Service function and keep service activities organised
  • Oversee site execution plans for installation, testing, commissioning of Actuators
  • Conduct regular technical reviews and service audits at client sites to build long-term trust, secure repeat business, and convert service calls into parts sales
  • Track service requests and share clear updates with customers.
  • Drive product improvements by systematically documenting recurring field failures, design flaws and system failures
  • Track and optimize the total cost of servicing, maintaining tight control over operational expenses
  • Monitor open requests to help ensure timely closure
  • Use customer feedback to improve the overall service experience

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Deep technical expertise in repairing and commissioning Electro-Hydraulic, Pneumatic Actuators
  • Experience handling customer service activities
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classifications, explosion-proof standards (ATEX/IECEx), and SIL safety requirements
  • Ability to work with internal teams to resolve service-related issues
  • Ability to review service information and identify improvement areas
  • Excellent commanding communication and presentation skills in English
