As a Senior Infra Manager in On-Premise Operations, you will be responsible for managing enterprise server, storage, virtualization, backup and data centre operations, ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness. It combines hands-on infrastructure management with governance, audit support, vendor coordination, and project delivery across a large-scale distributed environment.
  • Own enterprise infrastructure, DR and backup strategy for a large setup.
  • Drive high-visibility projects across servers, storage and virtualization.

Job Description

  • Manage and maintain Windows & Linux servers, Nutanix, VMware/Hyper-V, ensuring platform availability, performance, and capacity planning.
  • Administer backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam), including restore testing, air-gap backups, and DR readiness.
  • Drive patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and operational governance across infrastructure platforms.
  • Support storage and virtualization environments (SAN/NAS, Nutanix, VMware), production incidents, maintenance activities, and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with application, network, security, facilities, and vendor teams while maintaining audit evidence, access controls, compliance records, and DR documentation.



The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and data centre operations.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Nutanix, Commvault/Veeam, VMware/Hyper-V, SAN/NAS, patching, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
  • Proven track record supporting large-scale, multi-location environments (250+ branches) with high availability and operational resilience requirements.
  • Experience driving infrastructure projects, architecture initiatives, vendor governance, and technology lifecycle management.
  • Well-versed in audit, compliance, access controls, backup governance, DR drills, and vulnerability management, with a strong focus on documentation and evidence management.
