We are seeking an R&D Scientist in Specialty Polymers to develop, formulate, and characterize advanced polymer materials for applications across automotive, electronics, healthcare, coatings, and packaging. The role involves hands-on lab work, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting scale‑up for commercialization. Position based in Khatima, Uttarakhand.

Job Description

  • Lead research and development activities related to specialty polymers including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, and bio‑based polymers.
  • Develop new polymer formulations and enhance existing ones to meet performance, processing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and execute experiments, analyze results, and generate insights to drive new material innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, process engineering, and manufacturing teams to support scale‑up and commercialization.
  • Conduct polymer characterization using DSC, TGA, DMA, FTIR, GPC, Rheology, and related techniques to understand structure-property relationships.
  • Track emerging market trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards in all R&D operations.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and patent‑related material for internal and external communication

The Successful Applicant

  • Atleast 2 years of experience in relevant industry.
  • Strong foundation in polymer chemistry, synthesis, processing, and structure-property relationships.
  • Hands‑on experience with polymer analysis and characterization tools.
  • Ability to design experiments, handle complex datasets, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, innovation mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
