Job Description

Reporting to the COO, you will:

  • Define and lead the company-wide Quality and Process Improvement strategy across manufacturing operations.
  • Own end-to-end quality management covering supplier, incoming, in-process, outgoing, reliability, and customer quality.
  • Drive quality KPIs including first-pass yield, rejection reduction, grading performance, and dispatch quality.
  • Lead Integrated Management Systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Establish robust supplier quality programs including qualification audits, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Drive cross-functional quality improvements with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
  • Lead customer audits, warranty management, complaint resolution, and field quality initiatives.
  • Oversee reliability testing programs, IEC compliance, and product validation for new technologies and BOM changes.
  • Institutionalize structured root cause analysis, CAPA, process control, and quality governance frameworks.
  • Build a strong quality culture across manufacturing operations and supplier networks.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds an Engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or related disciplines; MBA preferred.
  • Brings 15-20 years of quality experience, including at least 5 years in solar PV cell or module manufacturing leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in cell and module manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product reliability.
  • Strong experience managing supplier quality, customer quality, warranty claims, and audits.
  • Lead Auditor certification highly desirable.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities across multi-plant environments.
