Managing Purchase function and drive strategic sourcing of all the raw materials for PEB(Steel /Paints/Fasteners), cost optimization, supplier & vendor development, and ensuring timely material availability for manufacturing at plant to meet the project requirements.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end procurement of steel, raw materials and production-related items.
  • Drive strategic sourcing, supplier development, and vendor management.
  • Negotiate contracts and optimize procurement costs.
  • Ensure timely material availability to support production and project schedules.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Finance teams.
  • Drive procurement excellence, compliance, and process improvements through SAP systems.



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong expertise in steel/raw material sourcing and vendor development.
  • Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and production-driven procurement.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP procurement modules and ERP systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline
  • 7-12 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.
