Technical Leadership & Influence

* Partner with Data Engineering Leads and Architecture to design and evolve scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions.

* Influence technical direction, standards, and best practices across Snowflake and ADF implementations.

* Provide expert guidance on complex data challenges including lineage, transformation logic, and legacy system integration.

* Act as a go-to SME for Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost optimization.Hands-On Engineering

* Design, build, and optimize complex ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.

* Lead deep data analysis and discovery across source systems, including heavy stored procedure environments.

* Implement and optimize Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models.

* Tune Snowflake performance (query optimization, clustering, workload management) and manage credit consumption.

* Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and maintainability across the platform. Collaboration & Enablement

* Work closely with Product, BI, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated, high-quality data solutions.

* Support and mentor engineers informally by guiding problem-solving and sharing best practices.

* Contribute reusable patterns, templates, and frameworks to improve delivery consistency and speed. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

* Leverage and promote the use of AI tools to accelerate data mapping, lineage tracking, and development.

* Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency across design, development, testing, and documentation.

* Help define practical, repeatable approaches for solving complex data engineering problems at scale.Governance & Operations

* Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

* Monitor and optimize Snowflake usage and cost efficiency.
