As a PMO - VP/SVP in Mumbai, you will lead the central PMO function, ensuring effective governance, controls, project tracking, and delivery excellence across pan-India Data Centre projects.

A leading data centre company in India with decades of experience in developing and operating highly reliable digital infrastructure. The organization manages a large network of data centres across multiple cities and serves a diverse client base that includes several global and Fortune 500 companies.

Job Description

  • Establish and lead the central PMO function for all Data Centre projects across India.
  • Drive project governance, standardization, reporting, risk management, and portfolio oversight.
  • Develop and manage the integrated project roadmap, capacity expansion plans, and master schedules.
  • Oversee project controls covering cost, schedule, resources, procurement, and CAPEX tracking.
  • Monitor key project risks, long-lead equipment procurement, and supply chain dependencies.
  • Coordinate closely with Design, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Track contractor performance, testing & commissioning milestones, and operational readiness for project handovers.
  • Ensure customer delivery commitments, RFS timelines, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Develop executive dashboards, portfolio MIS, and data-driven reporting for leadership decision-making.
  • Drive PMO digitization, automation, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives across the project portfolio.

The Successful Applicant

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
  • MBA/PGDM preferred.
  • PMP/PMI or equivalent project management certification preferred.



Experience

  • 25+ years of experience in infrastructure, data centre, EPC, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large, multi-city project portfolios.
  • Strong expertise in project controls, planning, governance, cost management, and portfolio delivery.
  • Exposure to colocation data centres and customer-led project execution is an advantage.
