Job Description

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of core platform services, shared infrastructure, APIs, event systems, and protocol-driven services.
  • Define platform standards including API design, versioning strategies, reliability frameworks, scalability models, and service governance.
  • Design and enhance developer platforms with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, observability, security controls, and self-service capabilities.
  • Architect cloud-agnostic solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, service mesh, and modern platform engineering practices.
  • Drive infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, cost optimization, capacity planning, security, and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial experience architecting large-scale platforms or shared services.
  • Strong expertise in designing and operating high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems in production environments.
  • Deep knowledge of REST, gRPC, event-driven architectures, API lifecycle management, and distributed systems principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, czontainers, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of observability, reliability engineering, and platform governance.
