This is a leadership role responsible for end-to-end plant operations, including Production, Planning & Control (PPC), Maintenance, and Utilities, supporting diverse PEB applications such as industrial sheds, warehouses, factories, and infrastructure structures.

Job Description

.1. Production & Manufacturing Operations Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across fabrication, assembly, and dispatch.
  • Deliver daily, monthly, and annual production targets aligned with business demand.
  • Drive efficiency across shop floor operations, including cutting, welding, drilling, painting, and assembly processes.



2. Production Planning & Control (PPC)

  • Own production planning cycles (daily/weekly/monthly) to meet project timelines.
  • Align closely with procurement, design, and project teams to ensure seamless execution.



3. Manufacturing Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Standardize and continuously improve fabrication processes (CNC cutting, welding, shot blasting, painting, etc.).
  • Drive lean manufacturing, cost optimization, and waste reduction initiatives.



4. Maintenance & Utilities Management

  • Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery and fabrication lines.
  • Ensure high uptime across critical equipment (CNC machines, welding lines, painting systems, cranes).
  • Manage plant utilities (power, compressed air, DG, etc.) to support uninterrupted operations.



5. Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead a cross-functional team across production, maintenance, quality, and planning.

The Successful Applicant

  • 20+ years of experience in Heavy steel fabrication sector (Automotive/PEB/Steel)
  • Mandatory experience in PEB / structural steel / heavy fabrication industry
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale fabrication units/plants with focus on Quality, costing, delivery, and timeline adherence
  • Steel fabrication processes: cutting, welding, assembly, painting
