Job Description

Reporting to the Business Leadership, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for a state-of-the-art production facility.
  • Drive production performance, operational efficiency, and on-time customer delivery.
  • Oversee quality, maintenance, supply chain, EHS, and plant administration.
  • Ensure optimum capacity utilization, production planning, and resource management.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Build a strong quality culture and drive customer-focused manufacturing excellence.
  • Lead EHS initiatives and ensure compliance with statutory and corporate standards.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing leadership teams across plant functions.
  • Drive inventory optimization, budget management, and working capital efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, audits, and governance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering; postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Brings 20-25 years of manufacturing leadership experience in hydraulics, automotive, heavy engineering, or allied industries.
  • Proven track record of leading large manufacturing plants and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, quality systems, and EHS practices.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization with a strong customer and performance focus.
