Job Description

  • Lead overall plant operations across production, maintenance, quality, inventory management, utilities and support functions.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a diverse workforce including supervisors, engineers, technicians, operators and plant staff.
  • Drive operational efficiency, productivity and cost optimisation while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable manufacturing regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Optimise utilisation of manpower, equipment and materials to maximise plant performance.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver organisational goals

The Successful Applicant

  • 18-22 years of experience within a manufacturing environment within building materials, construction chemicals, special packaging industry
  • Proven experience leading plant operations, manufacturing, production or operations functions within a comparable organisation.
  • Strong understanding of plant management, operational excellence and process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish SOPs, implement robust processes and develop long-term operational strategies.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Exposure to export-oriented manufacturing operations would be beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
