Job Description

Scope of work:

1) Best practice definition and gap analysis

  • Full mapping of SCADA architecture at all ASE PV and BESS assets, including third party devices/networks etc
  • Work with cybersecurity team to identify security weaknesses
  • Work with Asset Management team to identify data requirements
  • Documentation of best practice / industry standard architecture: networking, devices, data flow, data collected, storage, comms methods
  • Documentation of PV/BESS connectivity best practices
  • Gap analysis and recommendations
  • Develop implementation plan



2) Employer Requirements

  • Use best practice mapping to define Employer Requirements for EPC and O&M agreements
  • Work with PMO and Procurement teams to embed ERs into agreements.



3) Penetration testing

  • Work with penetration testing team (internal and external) to determine and execute any SCADA-related remediation measures.



Other

  • Any other work as requested in support of ongoing day-to-day or project-related requirements.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 7 years' relevant IT/engineering experience, including at least 4 years' OT/SCADA experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in utility-scale renewable energy, particularly PV and/or BESS.
  • Strong practical experience with SCADA, industrial networking, data loggers, PLC/RTU, inverters, PPCs and BESS EMS/BMS.
  • Experience with SCADA data flows, databases, servers and industrial connectivity platforms such as Kepware or equivalent.
  • Experience with OT cybersecurity, secure remote access, network segmentation and penetration-test remediation.
  • Experience developing technical requirements/specifications for EPC, O&M or similar contracts.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed assets and international teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with Cybersecurity Lead, PMO, Procurement, Asset Management, Compliance and external contractors.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and strong stakeholder-management skills. Experience with European renewable-energy operations is desirable
