  • 15+ years of NPD experience working with valves & electromechanical components
  • Exposure to APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA

Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end new product development (NPD) process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative automation and robotics solutions
  • Establish and implement NPD strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of new products to meet industry standards
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks during the product development lifecycle
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure products remain competitive
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on project progress and outcomes

The Successful Applicant

A successful NPD Head should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in new product development within the Automation-Robotics industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation systems
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team towards achieving shared goals
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Understanding of market trends and customer requirements in the industrial sector
