Pre-deal Credit EvaluationAs part of the Risk team, carry out detailed credit due diligence for deal evaluation and close coordination with the Underwriting team.Review and analyse finding of various Due Diligence reports (Financial Due Diligence, Commercial Due diligence, Legal opinions etc) where applicable.Based on the Financial model submitted by the Underwriting team, carry out review and prepare scenario analysis including unit economics, projections, cash flow analysis, ratio analysis etc.Suggesting risk mitigants, covenants, conditions, etc. based on diligence findings.As part of deal diligence, compile and analyse relevant data on the sector, competitors, etc with implications on financial model.Prepare Risk recommendation advice as part of submissions to the Investment Committee, articulating insights gained from such analysis. B. Portfolio monitoring & Other requirementsTrack ongoing performance of portfolio companies, including regularly updating financial performance, industry trends, adverse news, repayment status.Track covenant due dates, conditions subsequent due dates, hedge monitoring, follow up for compliance and escalate appropriately.Flag early warning signals and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.Conduct Portfolio Review and meet Annual review requirements of deals in a timely manner.Provide portfolio performance inputs during preparation of investor newsletters, valuation reports, audit related actionables.Prepare and circulate Risk dashboards for portfolio analytics, improvements such as Policies/ Process notes etc. Leverage AI/ technology to improve productivity.Ad hoc projects, policy formulation, IRB related data governance sanity etc.The Successful ApplicantMaster's degree in Finance from a reputed college/Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of similar working experience.Strong experience in credit risk of domestic mid/large corporates.Self-starter and able to take responsibility with a proactive approach to daily tasks.
