Reporting to the Director, Finance Private Equity the Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing aspects of the Financial Reporting function of the BBU group of entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial operations. The Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high quality outputs and support the growing needs of the underlying business.

Job Description

  • Lead the management of private equity portfolios, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and due diligence for potential investment opportunities.
  • Develop and execute investment strategies to maximise returns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate investment performance to stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and attract new investors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Support team members in achieving project milestones and organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager - Private Equity should have:

  • A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field. Must be a Qualified CA and should have experience in Financial reporting, US GAAP and consolidation.
  • 7-10 years of post qualification experience.
  • Proven expertise in private equity, financial analysis, and investment management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A keen understanding of the banking and financial services sector.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and capitalising on investment opportunities.
