Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive compliance support to assigned business functions, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
  • Advise stakeholders on complex regulatory, operational, and transactional compliance matters.
  • Assess new business initiatives, products, and strategic ventures to identify and mitigate emerging compliance risks.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, evaluating their impact on business operations and compliance obligations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain effective compliance controls and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Periodically assess the effectiveness of compliance frameworks and recommend process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Review policies, procedures, and reporting structures to identify risks, control gaps, and areas of non-compliance.
  • Ensure consistent implementation and enforcement of compliance standards across assigned functions.
  • Develop, update, and implement compliance policies aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Lead compliance projects, including gap assessments, action planning, and implementation of remediation initiatives.
  • Prepare and present compliance updates, emerging risk insights, and mitigation progress to leadership teams.
  • Develop strategic compliance solutions that support business growth while maintaining regulatory integrity.
  • Collaborate and influence senior stakeholders to drive compliance awareness and effective risk management.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, regulators, and compliance service providers.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering strong compliance, governance, and risk management practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a reputed institution
  • Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience as an in-house compliance manager or senior compliance professional
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, audit management, and risk governance



Technical Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of applicable industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Expert-level understanding of regulatory reporting procedures, record-keeping requirements, and documentation standards
  • Proficiency with compliance management systems, audit frameworks, and control documentation
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, internal controls frameworks (COSO, SOX, etc.), and risk management principles
