As a Manager Accounting and Controls (GA) in Mumbai, you'll handle accounting processes and ensure financial controls are effective in a third-party logistics setup. You'll work to keep financial records accurate and compliant with regulations.

  • Work with a Global GCC, in scaling its finance COE

A company in the transport and distribution industry, specialising in third-party logistics and based in Mumbai.

Job Description

  • Manage accounting operations, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with auditors to support audits and resolve queries.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Review and improve accounting procedures and systems.
  • Train and mentor team members in accounting best practices.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance. CA must
  • Experience in accounting and financial controls, ideally in transport or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
  • Confidence using accounting software and tools.
  • Good communication and team management skills.
