Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end litigation and dispute management, including labour, employment, property, commercial, and regulatory matters, while coordinating with external counsel and government authorities.
  • Provide legal support on real estate transactions, including title due diligence, property documentation review, lease registrations, and retail store acquisitions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, commercial agreements, legal notices, pleadings, and settlement documents to safeguard business interests.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, Factories Act, Shops & Establishments, Contract Law, and other statutory and regulatory requirements across operations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to manage legal risks, resolve disputes, develop policies, drive compliance initiatives, and support strategic business decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in law from a recognized institution.
  • Proven expertise in handling legal matters within the retail/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong litigation background with in-depth knowledge of labour laws, the Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act.
  • Strong working knowledge of CPC, CrPC/BNSS, Property/Real-Estate Law, Shops & Establishment, Indian Contract Act and Property title-due-diligence experience.
  • Hands-on experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
