Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate governance and compliance matters.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and manage potential legal risks.
  • Handle disputes, litigation, and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Support the business in understanding legal implications of operational decisions.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal legal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal alignment in business operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager - Legal should have:

  • A law degree from a recognised institution.
  • Experience in the retail or fashion and apparel industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate laws, compliance, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in handling legal disputes and liaising with external counsel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
