Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor, procurement, and other business contracts.
  • Provide practical legal advice to business stakeholders on contractual matters, risk assessment, commercial negotiations, and day-to-day legal queries.
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities, including renewals, amendments, obligation tracking, and ensuring compliance with key commercial terms.
  • Advise on employment law matters, primarily in India, covering hiring, employee relations, disciplinary actions, terminations, workplace policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Support global employment law matters across jurisdictions such as the US, UK, Europe, Australia, and UAE, coordinating with external counsel where specialized local advice is required.
  • Partner closely with HR and business leaders on employee investigations, sensitive workplace matters, and legally compliant documentation and processes.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in employment and commercial law, providing timely guidance on business and policy implications.
  • Coordinate Board, Committee, and CSR Committee meetings, including agenda management, scheduling, circulation of papers, and governance support across group entities.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance documentation, including Board and Committee minutes, resolutions, management reports, and supporting materials.
  • Liaise with external Company Secretaries and regulatory advisors to ensure timely statutory filings, compliance obligations, and maintenance of the corporate governance calendar.

The Successful Applicant

  • LL.B + CS (unlisted entities)
  • PQE: 6-8 years
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law and regulatory compliance in the technology and telecoms industry.
  • Proven expertise in drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
